Current Ministry
Al's weekly radio show, "Parent Factor", is geared to provide parents with proven principals in rearing children in today’s society. The show has been highly successful and recently American Family Radio picked up the show on more than 250 stations nationwide. “It’s been incredible to see the outpouring of people, especially single parents, who are desperate for feedback as they face all kinds of situations in raising kids” says Al in a recent conversation. “We are now able to provide resources to the entire family by coupling this radio show with the already successful television show”. The Al Denson Show, aimed at reaching out to students with the situations they face on a daily basis is aired exclusively on the Inspiration Network - INSP to name a few and reaches to every continent in the world. “We are able to bring a message of hope to the entire family unit through these two outreach opportunities and we are seeing an incredible response from those people who are tuning in and listening.” The Parent Factor can be heard on AFR stations across the country each Saturday evening at 6 p.m. and The Al Denson show can be seen on various networks throughout the world. In addition to using the media outlets for reaching students, Al has put a large focus on teaching character education in the schools for the past 6 years. He has developed a line of curriculum aimed at instilling positive character qualities into today’s students using Biblical principals. To date he has distributed, free of charge, more than 1⁄2 million copies of this curriculum to students all over America. At the beginning of 2004 Al was contacted by a faith-based organization out of Washington D.C. about becoming involved in a campaign to deliver character education into schools across America through the No Child Left Behind Act, signed by President Bush in 2001. Al will be donating his materials to this organization to use in this campaign as they reach out to students to help provide them with principals that will guide them into a successful adult life.
