All Around the World

Wherever a cup of water is given to a thirsty man
Wherever you find a touch of forgiveness
You’ll see his healing hand
There’s a call to arms being answered
And everywhere you look you can see it

Chorus:
All around the world
I see the arms of Jesus reaching
All around the world
Healing hearts and souls and teaching
Perfect love to every man and woman, boy and girl
‘Til the light of Heaven shines
All around the world

You know we could talk forever
And ever and not be understood
We can be so heavenly minded
We ain’t no earthly good
Or we can make a world of difference
One heart at a time, then we’ll see it

And if you think there’s nothing you can do
Maybe you should change your point of view
It’s the hope of Jesus Christ
That changes every one of us.

Soul to Soul

And soul to soul
We will join together and change the world
The young and old
We will help each other, soul to soul

Well my hair’s too long
And your clothes are way out of style
My music is much too loud
And Perry Como’s a bit too mild
These trivial things that drive us farther apart
For a much higher call, we must tear down the walls
Between our hearts

Well, I need your wisdom
And you need my strength
We need each other
Joined with the Father, to do anything.

Pledge to Purity

So many questions
In this life that we live
So many choices we can make
So much surrounding us we cannot control
It’s easy to make a mistake

Chorus:
Now we can give in
To all the pressure we feel
We could be led astray somehow
Or we can decide that we will take a firm stand
And make this solemn vow

I pledge my life
To do what’s right
This is my sole security
Here in my heart
Both day and night
I’ll make a pledge to purity

Now you may be thinking
That you’re hopelessly lost
That you’re just too far away
But it’s never too late to try and turn things around
Just make this commitment today

We can shine a light
Through the darkest night
By the way that we live our lives
We can heal what’s wrong
By standing strong
In the face of compromise

Church of Love

There are no doors there are no windows
There is no doubt or unbelief
It’s a safe sanctuary from whatever wind may blow
It’s the home of joy and the house of peace

Chorus:
In the church of love
Everybody stands together
One body washed in Jesus blood
In the church of love
Is a mighty revelation
There’s salvation here
In the church of love.

Now every race and every color
Stand equal one and all
The orphans of the world can find a sister or a brother
It’s where the weary rest and the weak stand tall

So bring the poor and bring the lonely
Bring the sin sick and diseased
There’s no one perfect here
Only passionate disciples
Doing all they know to believe

See Him

You crossed my mind today
Lately you seem so far away
I see the pain that you’re going through
But you tie my hands when I reach out to you

Chorus:
How can I show you the love that you need to see
And how can I tell you the truth and somehow make you believe
Maybe just one word or a simple smile
Will bring you to your knees, and you’ll open your eyes and see him

You say that feelings change
And that things just aren’t the same
But God’s love and mine will never go away.
Please give me a chance to find the right words to say.

Do You Know This Man?

He is led into the court room
With a smile upon his face
He is confident his actions have secured his resting place
God, the judge is seated
The bailiff says "All rise"
The prosecution call it’s witness
And his name is Jesus Christ.

Chorus:
Do you know this man?
Did he call your name?
When no one else could see did he call you king?
With nothing to gain did he take a stand?
Did he give you his love?
For all time to come
Do you know this man?

The defendant looks uneasy
As he takes his solemn oath
Now the world can’t stand behind him
You see he’s suddenly alone
He would not have been convicted
By a jury of his peers
But all heaven knows the answer
To the question that he fears

When we hear the question, what will we say
As we testify on judgment day?

Stand On Love

Every Sunday by the millions
We go our separate ways
A splintered family of believers
All seeing the same face
Our common goal will make us stronger
Than any argument we win
Cause when we reach out to each other
We’re reaching out to him

Chorus:
His grace is unconditional
He saved us by his blood
It’s not enough to stand on principle
We need to stand on love
We need the freedom and the hope
That flows from mercy’s cup
It’s essential that we seek his will
We need to stand on love

You see we’re so concerned with labels
And wanting to belong
We create so much division
We can’t even get along
There’s no time to judge each other
We’re the only ones who lose
We need to come together
Upon the word of truth

In the body we seek unity
With many parts as one
A house divided cannot stand
We can only stand on love

Life on the Edge

Why does it seem
We never know which way to go
Wasting our time
Trying to decide
Which way the wind will blow
And if you feel
You’re on the outside looking in
There is a place not far away
Further than your comfort zone
But you will never walk alone, Oh, no

Chorus:
Life on the edge
You’re standing on the top of a brave new world
Make it your pledge to give it your all
And answer the call
There’s life on the edge

You can go with the flow
But it might take you where you don’t wanna go
You try to fit in
You’re dancing with sin
It’s time to live what you believe
We live in a world that will demand your very soul
So stand apart and guard your heart
You can’t follow the status quo
You’ve gotta walk the narrow road
You‘re not alone

As the days fade and the years go by
We can see our lives are part of his plan
When we look back on all we’ve done
In our hearts we’ve learned
We’ve done all we can to live

One Nation Under God

Our fathers built this land
On the foundation of the word
They gave their lives for truth and liberty
Yet today there’s something missing
We’ve pushed aside God’s word
It seems we’ve lost the reason to believe
The banner’s torn and tattered beneath a cloud of sin
And it’s time we took America back to the cross again

Chorus:
We gotta love one another
Stand together
Fight this war no matter what the cost
We gotta pray for our children
And turn our hearts toward heaven
And seek to be one nation under God.

We’ve bowed to this worlds idols
We have built our Babylon
When will we see we’re on a dead end course
We used to stand amazed
At the miracle of birth
But now it’s nothing more than just a choice
You see the world slowly dying and the end is drawing near
But our only hope is Jesus we’ve gotta let the whole world hear

Within the heart of every child
There burns a holy flame
Strong enough to pierce the dark
Through the power of his name

More to Love Than Meets the Eye

No one had seen a darker day
As they watched him crucified
They were confused and so afraid
Why would God let his own son die
They thought their hopes and dreams were lost
They couldn’t see beyond despair
That God led Jesus to the cross
But didn’t plan to leave him there

Chorus:
There’s more to this love than meets the eye
It’s bigger than anything in life
It’s a love that has no boundaries, a love that will not die
There’s more to his heart than we can see
It’s greater than we can even dream
So remember, there’s more to love than meets the eye

It’s in those moments of defeat
When we’re fighting to hold on
That he allows us to be weak
So he may prove to us he’s strong
The way our lives fit in his plan
May be a picture we can’t see
So trust his heart and take his hand
There’s always hope if we’ll believe

I keep dreaming of a place
That waits behind a door
Where I will see for eternity
All that heaven has in store
